The second Friday of every month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., head to Chapel Hill and Carrboro for an ArtWalk. Experience live music, food, activities, hands-on art demonstrations, discounts, and more. Download a map to help make sure you don’t miss anything. 27 venues are highlighted on the map.

South White Street, Wake Forest

Head to Friday Night on White in Wake Forest. The band, Big Love, will be performing, and there will be food trucks for your dining enjoyment. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

 

PLAYlist Concert Series

Friday, August 9

7 p.m.

Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street, Durham

Listen to music in the park, while you enjoy dinner from a food truck or a drink from a craft beer vendor. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. New Reveille is performing. Raleigh Rockers open.

 

S’Morrisville

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Various locations

The Town of Morrisville celebrates National S’more Day in a big way. It becomes S’Morrisville. Celebrate at four locations around town: Morrisville Community Park, Northwest Park, Church Street Park and Healthy Food Hub. At each, there will be free s’mores to enjoy, as well as music, games, t-shirts to win, and food trucks.
