King’s collar manners are on point – he’ll happily sit still for it to be put on. He’s quite the well-behaved walker too, calmly passing by other dogs without much reaction. This high-energy pup is a pro at leash walking and has a blast playing fetch – a game he adores. He’s also a gentle treat-taker and loves to show his affection by giving kisses.

Matt Murphy regularly takes callers from his “Carpool Parents” in morning drive when they are on their way to drop their kids off at school.

Princess is a sweet lap dog who loves being held and napping with her people. She’s still recovering from a broken leg from being hit by a car, but she walks fine and only needs help to get on furniture. She’s still a little afraid of cars, but she’s getting more comfortable with them. She’s cautious with new people, but she’s interested in meeting them, and she’s good with other dogs. She still has some puppy energy, but she does well when crated, and she’s happy to chew toys. Princess is mostly house trained, and still improving.

Start every day off right with a helping of hash browns, please! Well, maybe just one.
Meet hash brown…with a side of hot sauce. He walks well but thinks he’s a 100% Doberman when he sees other dogs. Very manageable on leash; he’s a feisty guy who uses his voice. He has little dog syndrome and looks up at you to make sure you see that he’s big and strong. Such a sweet guy who appreciates human attention.
If you are feeling famished, nothing will invigorate you more than an encounter with hash brown. Volunteers call him “little gremlin”. During his photo shoot, he enjoyed sitting for treats, running around the play yard, and repeating throughout the entire session.
He prefers to be the only dog in home, so he’s perfect for that first-time dog owner!

Hash Brown is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
Louis V. is my name, and I am a very good boy! I am potty trained and know “sit”. I came in as a stray so there is not a lot of history on me, but I am a sweet guy that loves to go for walks and be with my human.
I am pretty smart and will be able to pick up on any training you want to help me learn. I seem to get along with other dogs because I don’t react to them when I am on my walks. You are going to love my no-drama, relaxed energy and my nuzzles for affection. Don’t I have a cute face and the biggest smile?! Come by the animal center and I will gladly smile for you in person!

Here we have another little model: Abby!
This low rider is 3 years old and really loves fetch! She is shy, but she really started to show her cute little personality in the play yard! Play yard notes: “meek and mild mannered, she mostly played the sniffing each other game with her play partner. We will continue to watch her blossom in future sessions.”
Abby is patiently waiting for her furever home – come meet your new best friend!
