Join us at Food Lion located at 2420 Wycliff Road in Raleigh on Friday, June 1st for our Feeding Families Food Drive!
We’ll broadcast live from Food Lion from 7am – 7pm while we collect food for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
We’re collecting food to support the Food Bank’s summer meal program which helps families whose children receive FREE breakfast and lunch benefits during the school year. These families do not have the means to provide their families with three daily meals during the summer months.
The Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC is asking for the following non-perishable foods for their summer program:
- Easy-to-Open Cans
- Cereals
- Granola Bars
- Crackers
- Fruit Cups (Must have ingredients on all of the cups in the pack or they can’t accept it)
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Other easy grab and go items for all ages
