Meet Jason Todd, a gentle soul who may have started off a little shy, but quickly warmed up to the joy of playgroups. At first, he looked a bit unsure, but it didn’t take long for him to start showing his playful side. After a one-on-one session with a female dog, he was bouncing around and playbowing, clearly having a great time. Jason Todd is a sweet and sensitive boy who just needs a little time to feel comfortable and will blossom with love and patience. Come meet him and see his playful spirit shine!
He’s a really happy guy. Always wagging his tail and spinning in circles when volunteers go into his kennel and he loves walks. He just has a really serious face – even when he’s happy! He is excellent on-leash. He’s not reactive at all inside or out. He’s very even-keeled and laid back. Calm and very sweet
Although he is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $600 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.

If you’re interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at [email protected] with the subject line “Jason Todd 256875”.
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
