Tip: Order a small cake to cut, and a sheet (or kitchen) cake for your guests
My fiance and I are expecting 150+ guests so to cut costs we ordered a cake that would serve about 50 for us to cut (Gotta get those cute pictures, and I promise I’m shoving some of it in his face) and kitchen cakes for the rest of the guests! They will be the same flavor and look the same it just saves you $$!

The last Friday of every month, rain or shine, Downtown Hillsborough showcases its art scene with the Last Fridays Art Walk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Explore art galleries, artist studios, fine jewelers, boutique shops and award-winning restaurants. The activity takes place mostly on and around Churton Street, between West Margaret Lane and West Queen Street. You can find a map and information on each participating venue on Hillsborough Arts Council’s website. Also at the event will be a free concert by the Castaways.

Dix Park Athletic Field, 801 Biggs Drive, Raleigh
This is the first Pop-PupAlooza Dog Park at Dix Park. Dogs will be allowed off leash in this 4-acre area. There will be a small dog area too. There will be pet-related vendors, food trucks for humans and some lawn games, as well as raffles every half hour.
