Head to Friday Night on White in Wake Forest. The band, Soul Pschedelique, will be performing, and there will be food trucks for your dining enjoyment. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

 

Destination SunFest

Saturday, July 13

2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Dix Park, 2105 Umstead Drive, Raleigh

Two big festivals, SunFest and Destination Dix, are combined into this one huge festival, which features a ferris wheel, carousel, live music, inflatables, hayrides, art activities, lawn games and more. And it’s ALL free. To top it off, visit the five acres of sunflowers in Dix Park, which are blooming now.
