Cary Diwali Celebration

This free festival will feature music, dance, and theater performances, a handicraft bazaar, Indian food vendors, displays about Indian culture, demonstrations, children’s activities and more. It will end with a fireworks show over Symphony Lake at 8:30pm. Admission is free but parking is $5.

Hillsborough Handmade Parade

This Mardi Gras style grassroots street parade is a Hillsborough tradition you shouldn’t miss. There will be wild costumes, giant puppets, stilt walkers, marching bands and much more. The parade starts at the Town Hall, at 101 East Orange Street and ends with the Grand Finale at the River Park.
