Check out the exhibition featuring the art of the Lowrider Motorcycle, and take part in a creative, hands-on activity, enjoy music, free snacks, a DJ, dancing and more.

 

Dark Dimension Haunted Experience

This is a free, home-grown haunted house in North Raleigh. Two days only. Killer Clowns from Outer space may or may not show up.

 

Bull Moon Rising

Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3

CCB Plaza, Durham

Bull Moon Rising is an installation of Museum of the Moon, a huge spherical replica of the moon, which is hanging over CCB Plaza. There will be several special events with this installation, including a community dinner with food trucks, performances, a dance party and yoga. Check the Facebook page, as some additional activities might be added, since the Thursday night festivities had to be canceled due to weather.

 

Cajun Dance Lesson and Party with Live Music

Downtown Hillsborough

The last Friday of every month, rain or shine, Downtown Hillsborough showcases its art scene with the Last Fridays Art Walk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Explore art galleries, artist studios, fine jewelers, boutique shops and award-winning restaurants. The activity takes place mostly on and around Churton Street, between West Margaret Lane and West Queen Street. You can find a map and information on each participating venue on Hillsborough Arts Council’s website.

 

Final Friday Cary Art Crawl

Downtown Cary

Once a month on the last Friday, Cary showcases its artists and musicians at the Final Friday Cary Art Crawl. Art galleries stay open later, and there are live performances at the entertainment hubs. Visit the website for a map.

 

Halloween ComicFest

Roaring Raleigh Lawn Party

Go back in time to the Jazz Age at this free party, inspired by the 1920s and 1930s. It will include dance performances and lessons, roving entertainers, Model T cars, vintage clothing vendors and more.
