NC Chinese Lantern Festival

Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre will once again be transformed into a magnificent setting when the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival returns this holiday season.

The Festival will include more than 20 ALL NEW displays, each one comprised of hundreds of parts, and thousands of LED lights. In what proved to be a fan favorite last year, the spectacular Chinese Dragon on Symphony Lake will return to mesmerize visitors.

Each larger than life lantern will once again wow visitors with their amazing craftsmanship, cultural significance and artistic beauty.  A new feature this year will be the addition of cultural performance and artisan crafts.

Kids 2 and under FREE
Ages 3 – 17 – $10
Adults ages 18+ – $15

PARKING
Parking will be free of charge in venue owned lots.

Tips on planning your visit
Patrons will be walking through the venue to observe the light displays however there will be limited seating on the crescent deck for those that want to relax and take in the view!  Venue food/beverage stands will be open selling holiday treats and beverages. Please note, the venue is not able to provide wheelchairs for patrons at this event. It takes most patrons about 45-75 minutes to view all of the displays.

Strollers, bottle water, purses/backpacks, cameras and video recorders

Prohibited Items
Lawn chairs, food and beverage, pets, tents/staking and weapons
