Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Files $100 Million Defamation Lawsuit Over ‘Making Of A Bad Boy’ Documentary

Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Peacock TV, and Ample Entertainment for claims made in the recent documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy. The lawsuit was filed in New York on Wednesday (February 12), and alleges that the media companies behind the film “falsely, recklessly, and maliciously” accused Combs of serial murder and sex trafficking. The documentary, which premiered on Peacock in January, focused on claims that Combs was allegedly involved in the death of his former girlfriend, Kimberly Porter, in addition to Biggie Smalls and Heavy D, and the attempted murder of Al B. Sure. Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff, said the companies behind the documentary were “Grossly exploiting the trust of their audience and racing to outdo their competition for the most salacious Diddy exposé.” Combs seeks $100 million in damages for “severe reputational and economic harm” due to the baseless and damaging accusations.
