You Can Pay a Website 99 Cents Just to See Who Else Paid 99 Cents

You Can Pay a Website 99 Cents Just to See Who Else Paid 99 Cents

Wait, people are seriously doing this?

The website WhoPaid99Cents.com has a simple setup: Pay 99 cents, and they will unlock a list of people who also paid 99 cents to see said list.

Pasquale D’Silva, one of the creators of the site explains how the idea was thought of, “The idea of having to pay to see who paid for something just made us laugh. It’s funny, I think, to use computers for things they weren’t designed for. This is a perfect example of that. We just kind of cobbled this thing together in a few hours and then launched it this morning. It seems to be drumming up some fun conversation.”
