The first Saturday in May is Free Comic Book Day. Many comic book stores around the Triangle are participating by giving away free comic books. Some have additional activities too, like artists doing sketches, and costume contests.

Celebrate the “Peak of Good Living” in Apex with this free festival. There will be live music all day, with The Embers featuring Craig Woolard headlining. There will also be entertainment like a stilt walker, balloon twisting, magicians and princesses.

Enjoy traditional and popular Greek music and folk dance by adult and youth in authentic costumes. There will also be Greek cultural exhibits, travel videos, tours of the church, a fun zone for kids, and Greek food for purchase. Free dance lessons upon request.
