Over The Edge with Brittani

Over The Edge with Brittani

Support Brittani as she goes Over The Edge for Special Olympics North Carolina!

You may be wondering what rappelling down a skyscraper has to do with Special Olympics, the answer is simple: If you are a person with intellectual disabilities, you encounter adversities daily and you must have the courage to try something that doesn’t come easily to you.

Over the Edge is a unique fundraiser that gives individuals the opportunity to rappel 30 stories down the Wells Fargo Capitol Center in Raleigh to raise money for Special Olympics North Carolina.

Special Olympic athletes bravely face challenges on the field, in the pool and on the court. They are the inspiration for this event. Take your support for Special Olympics North Carolina to new heights and face your fears!

Sign up today or Support Brittani’s rappel!

All proceeds benefit Special Olympics North Carolina, a non-profit that uses the power of sports to transform the lives of adults and children with intellectual disabilities.

About Special Olympics North Carolina

Special Olympics goes beyond just sports by training athletes to be leaders in the movement, promoting inclusion and youth leadership in schools and working to improve the health of our athletes through a holistic approach to health, fitness, nutrition and inclusion. There are nearly 40,000 registered athletes in the state of North Carolina, but there is the potential to reach so many more individuals with intellectual disabilities. Athletes are never asked to pay a fee to participate in Special Olympics programming which makes fundraisers like Over the Edge so important.
