Sweet Tina Banana (as her foster mom calls her) had a rough start. A doggie buddy is a must, as she trusts dogs more than humans. Tina can be a bit nervous at first in a new environment. That’s why she’s a “dog’s dog.” Having a dog buddy calms her down, and helps show her the ropes of her new place.
Humans remain tolerable to Tina if they let her come to them, rather than force interaction. She will follow you around regardless, but the lack of human touch when she was growing up continues to impact her and she prefers to be petted when she comes to you!
Tina is potty trained, thrives on structure, has never been in a crate, has always been loose in the house, and is non-destructive! She can be left alone at home without any issues. Again, structure is key. She’s a girl of habit and prefers when she knows what to expect!
Tina is currently being housed with one of the Wake County Animal Center’s foster families.
