Drake has added another major chart achievement to his career with “Janice STFU.” The song has now spent 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, giving him the longest-running track of his career on that ranking.
Billboard notes that the song has moved past “Hotline Bling,” which previously held Drake’s personal record with 18 weeks at the top. “Janice STFU” has remained at No. 1 since entering the chart in the top position on the May 30 ranking.
During the September 18 through September 24 tracking period, the track generated about 9 million official U.S. streams and reached a radio audience of 15.7 million.
Its 19-week run also ties Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “Industry Baby” for the fourth-longest stay at No. 1 in Hot Rap Songs history.
Drake has previously earned extended chart runs with songs including “God’s Plan,” “In My Feelings,” “The Motto,” and “Best I Ever Had.” His album ICEMAN has also reached 13 weeks at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
