Meet Chia, a sweet girl with a wrinkly forehead and a perpetually worried expression that quickly melts once she feels loved. She’s easy to walk, though she does pull if she’s excited to get somewhere. She happily hands out kisses and would love nothing more than to be your lap companion. Her favorite pastime is rolling a giant orange ball around the play yard, and it’s impressive to watch her problem-solve when it gets stuck! Because she can become very focused on the ball, she’ll benefit from positive training to learn when to disengage. In playgroups, Chia is a rough-and-rowdy gal who loves to play. When she gets excited, Chia can become overstimulated and may overwhelm or irritate more reserved dogs, so structured play and monitoring are important. Chia would thrive with dogs that can match her enthusiasm—confident, tolerant, rough-and-rowdy playmates who enjoy her all-in play style. Big personality, big heart, and even bigger potential… Chia is ready to find the home that fits her just right.
Chia is already spayed and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and is ready to go home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
