Cali is spayed and ready to go home! She is a friendly, confident dog who greets people happily in her kennel and is always ready to get out and explore. Outside, she has a medium energy level and a unique, fun way of moving—part slight pulling, part dashing—often described by a volunteer as “prancing.”
In playgroup, Cali has a big personality and an enthusiastic play style. She can be quite vocal and likes rough-and-tumble fun, which can be a little overwhelming for some dogs. Because of this, she has been labeled dog-selective for her protection, as only the most tolerant male playmates have been comfortable with her energetic antics. With the right match and thoughtful introductions, she may enjoy canine companionship, but she could also do very well as the only dog soaking up all the attention.
Cali would thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active walk and appreciates a dog with a bold, quirky personality.
Cali is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
