Meet Taffy! This lovely lab lady quickly wins the hearts of everyone she meets! She approaches new situations with a shy curiosity, but is quick to open up with the help of supportive, loving people. She is happy to meet new people and has all the characteristics of a social butterfly.
She has been in a home before, so we know that she does not do well with cats. Otherwise, she has done great in a home setting! She loves to play fetch, go on walks, and most importantly—cuddle!
If you’re interested in learning more about Taffy, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line “Taffy 266912.”
Taffy is ready to go home today. She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and is already spayed. If you have dogs, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
Come meet Taffy today! Taffy is currently being housed at the Wake County Animal Center Adoption Center and can be visited any day from noon – 6 p.m. Adoptions are first-come, first-served; you must meet with a pet in-person before the adoption process can be started.
Visit the Wake County Animal Center’s Adoption Page for more information about fees and the adoption process. Thank you for considering the Wake County Animal Center as you search for a new addition to your family!
