Believe UK and Tileyard Music have launched a new joint venture label called Tenace Records, expanding their presence in the UK music market. The move was announced this week, marking a new collaboration between Believe UK and Tileyard Music.
Tenace Records is positioned as a frontline, boutique label designed to support artist development with a flexible, independent-focused approach. The label will be led by Tileyard Music co-founders Charlie Arme and Michael Harwood, who will serve as co-presidents. Chris Dashwood, previously a marketing executive at Universal Music, has been appointed general manager.
According to the announcement, Tenace aims to combine Believe’s global distribution and data infrastructure with Tileyard’s experience in artist services, management, and creative development. The goal is to offer artists hands-on support while maintaining ownership and long-term career focus.
The label’s first confirmed signing is Pale Waves, a UK guitar-pop band with an established touring history. Their upcoming releases will be among the first projects issued through Tenace Records.
