Clifton is truly a bundle of joy and such a wonderful addition to a home. From the moment you walk through the door, he’s there to greet you and is so happy to see you and ready to share his love. He has the sweetest personality and makes you feel instantly welcome. Honestly, his eyes get ya every time!
He loves watching the world go by from the window and will occasionally let out an excited bark when something interesting catches his eye. Clifton thrives on routine and has picked up on ours beautifully, so much so that he’ll gently remind you when it’s time to eat if you happen to forget. He is in LOVE with car rides and will ride up front (buckled in) and watch very attentively. In addition, Clifton is great on a leash. He will only pull when super excited, but will listen when you say “stop” or “sit” and he immediately stops and sits.
Clifton is absolutely in love with his toys and especially enjoys playing with you, making him a fun and engaging companion. He is dog-selective, but because my home has no other animals, we’ve had an incredibly successful and peaceful time together. He’s really flourished as an only pet.
He loves meeting new people, has the best manners, and is such a little gentleman. Clifton is a loyal, loving companion who would bring so much joy, laughter, and heart into someone’s home.
Clifton is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and is ready to go home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
Clifton is currently being housed with one of the Wake County Animal Center’s foster families.
