Taylor Swift has added another major chart achievement to her career. Patient Zero has reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Swift her 16th career No. 1 on the chart.
The latest chart results also place her closer to The Beatles, who still hold the all-time record with 20 Hot 100 No. 1 songs. Swift now sits four chart-toppers behind that mark.
Patient Zero is one of several bonus tracks from the expanded edition of The Life of a Showgirl to make a strong debut. Four of those songs entered the top five, extending the album’s already significant presence on the chart.
The new No. 1 is also Swift’s third of 2026. Earlier this year, Opalite and I Knew It, I Knew You also reached the top spot.
Swift’s total now places her firmly among the artists with the most No. 1 singles in Hot 100 history. Mariah Carey also remains near the top of that list, while The Beatles continue to hold the record.
The latest result adds another milestone to Swift’s long run of chart success.
