Sunday is a quirky boy who’s all puppy—puppy energy, puppy antics, and very much puppy-needs-training. He’s bouncy, excited, and still learning how to focus. So, basic obedience should be a top priority for his new family to help him settle and succeed. He’s highly treat motivated, which will make training both effective and fun. More than anything, Sunday just wants to be part of the action and join his people on every adventure, big or small, each day.
In dog playgroups, Sunday displayed manners and respect with both male and female partners—letting them know that he was friendly and ready to engage in some easy play.
He is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
Sunday is currently being housed at the Wake County Animal Center’s Adoption Center and can be visited any day from noon – 6 p.m. If you’re interested in learning more about Sunday, please reach out to the Wake County Animal Center’s volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line “Sunday, 259341.” Adoptions are first-come, first-served; you must meet with a pet in-person before the adoption process can be started.
