A new podcast series centered on the life of DMX is in development, according to details shared by Billboard. The project is being produced by 50 Cent through his G-Unit Audio platform and will focus on the late rapper’s personal history, career, and lasting cultural impact.
The series, titled Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX, will be hosted by Jadakiss, a longtime peer who shared roots with DMX in Yonkers, New York. The show is expected to trace DMX’s early life, including the experiences and challenges that shaped him before his rise to fame in the late 1990s.
Rather than focusing only on chart success, the podcast will include firsthand accounts from people who knew DMX at different stages of his life. These perspectives are intended to provide context around his music, struggles, and influence within hip-hop.
50 Cent is developing the project as part of a broader push into audio storytelling. The podcast is set to be released in partnership with iHeartPodcasts, with a debut planned for 2026.
