The international jazz conference jazzahead! is preparing for its 20th annual edition, set to take place in Bremen, Germany, from April 22 to 25, 2026.
Founded in 2006, jazzahead! began as a small industry meeting with fewer than 100 exhibitors. Over two decades, it has grown into one of the most important global gathering points for the jazz world. Each year, musicians, promoters, label representatives, journalists, and venue operators travel to Bremen to meet, exchange ideas, and discover new artists.
The event combines three main elements. There is a trade fair where industry professionals connect. There is a conference program focused on current topics in jazz and live music. And there is a showcase festival, where selected artists perform short sets for an international audience of decision makers.
