Usher recently dropped his new single “Ruin,” featuring Pheelz, and an accompanying music video.
“Thank U bro for bringing your gift to the track and to this video. It’s a whole vibe,” Usher told the Nigerian producer on Instagram.
The single arrives ahead of the release of his ninth studio album, Coming Home. The official release of the 20-track LP is set for just before the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The 45-year-old singer-songwriter is the headliner at the show, which is scheduled to take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, next Sunday.
Artists including Burna Boy, Latto, 21 Savage, Summer Walker, The-Dream, and H.E.R. are appearing on Coming Home.
Speaking about his full-length album, Usher said, “We’ve put a lot of thought and creativity into this new album to tell a story that is open to interpretation and that will connect with people in different ways. I know this has been a long time coming for my fans and what I’ll say is that all good things come to those who wait. I hope you enjoy it once you hear it.”
