Overall streaming on Spotify for Swift’s entire catalog increased by 55.1% on Friday alone, with her songs receiving 30.64 million streams in one single day. The largest gains were seen in the original version of Speak Now with a 430% increase in streams globally, followed by her self-titled debut album with a 220% increase, and Reputation with a 160% increase. The original version of Fearless also saw a 160% increase, followed by Red with a 150% jump, while 1989 received a streaming bump of more than 110%. This streaming surge is expected to impact the Billboard 200 chart next week, with Swift’s early albums expected to make a reappearance on the tally. (Variety)
