Taylor Swift has once again achieved the feat of creating the top-selling album of the year.

The 31-year-old dropped two surprise albums in 2020, including Folklore in July and its sister album Evermore in December, the former of which sold more than 1 million copies across the nation, becoming the only album to do so last year.

Other Swift albums to have achieved this feat include Lover (1.09 M) in 2019, Reputation (1.9 M) in 2017, 1989 (3.66 M) in 2014, and Fearless (3.22 M) in 2009.

Swift is the only artist to ever have released 5 top-selling albums of the year since MRC’s first full year of tracking in 1992.
