Premo enjoys a nice walk to appreciate the fresh air and sunshine. Afterwards, he enjoys any and all attention being given his direction. He will reward you with the most expressively adorable head tilts and a big grin!
This low to medium-energy guy is easy to walk and shows no reaction to other dogs. Premo loves to explore and play fetch, and he adores his toys. He knows sit and takes treats gently. Plus, he’s on the potty trained list, keeping his kennel clean.
While Premo is a big boy, during playgroups with another female dog, he was respectful and friendly. He was a bit humpy, but he took corrections well from his play partner.
Although he is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $400 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment.
If you’re interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at [email protected] with the subject line “Premo 246931”.
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
