Han Holo has been a staff favorite since he arrived in March! He recently swam at an aquatics center for dogs and had a joyous time! He snuggled in for the car ride to the aquatics center. At the aquatics center, he bravely went down the ramp and into the pool to retrieve a special pool toy that he fell in love with. Han Holo enjoyed hanging out in the sun afterwards with the volunteer who took him. The volunteer said it was hard to say goodbye to this wiggle-butt long-timer, but she hopes his new adventure will bring him fresh eyes as he looks for his forever home. He enjoys being petted and showered with love and seems to love everything. Han Holo would love to be your one-and-only pet so he can catch up on all the love he deserves.
During a recent playgroup session, Han Holo did not seem to thrive well in an environment with another dog. He should likely be the only dog in the home or very slow introductions should be done over a series of a few days for him to be introduced to another resident dog.
If you’re interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at [email protected] with the subject line “Han Holo 247365”.
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend VERY slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
